WLS offer a range of control panels that control system functions - such as setting/un-setting the system. They also control sounders and signalling, and provide power and battery backup. The control panel monitors the alarm input devices and then activates the alarm output devices such as horns, warning lights, emergency telephone diallers etc. Our control panels range from simple units with a single input and output zone, to complex computer driven systems that monitor several buildings over an entire campus. Conventional systemsConventional systems connect and monitor the detectors on one or more circuits, monitoring for an open or a short condition. However, they cannot distinguish which detector has sounded the alarm - only that an alarm has occurred. Analogue Addressable SystemsThese systems have largely replaced the conventional system. They identify the point where the fire was first detected and they also monitor the condition of the detection devices themselves. | ||||||||||||||||||||
