WLS provides a range of hard-wired and wireless protection devices to suit almost any environment, utilising infra red, microwave, vibration and sound sensing technologies.

Passive Infrared Detectors (PIRs)

PIRs react to infrared heat energy emitted by people and are designed to detect the motion of a heat source. They emit no radiation themselves. PIRs commonly come in two forms – ceiling and wall mounted - and are available in a wide range of specifications and prices.

Microwave Detectors

A microwave detector works by sensing the physical movement of an object or person. They monitor microwaves with a frequency of ~10.5 GHz within a given space. The waves fill a room, reflecting off the walls, desks etc. When an object moves within the room, the reflected wave’s frequency changes, triggering the alarm.

Seismic Detectors

A seismic, or shock detector picks-up the vibration caused by an attempted break-in and are normally fitted to windows and door frames.

Dualtec Dectors

A 'Dualtec' combines two types of detection in one device; the most common is the Microwave plus P.I.R.
