Halcrow’s Head Office’s shortlisted BCO Award submission corroborates West London Security’s Innovative Contribution

Elms House was recognised as a finalist amongst the other 120 award entries for top-quality design and functionality, celebrating innovation and examples of best practice in workplaces in the British Council of Offices (BCO) Regional Awards 2011. Halcrow’s headquarter building in West London, Elms House, was one of the six finalists shortlisted  for the refurbished/recycled workplace award, up against high-profile office buildings and developments across the region, such as the Nomura offices and the Angel Building in London.

WLS were nominated by Halcrow to supply and install a complete integrated security system which included glass turnstiles, integrated access control, CCTV and a bespoke vehicular access system.

Halcrow project director Tony Van Emst said: “It’s a real achievement for our building to be part of these awards and a reflection of the high standard of work that went into the project - by our designer MMoser Associates, our contractors and the project board. I know we will enjoy coming to work in this building for many years to come.”
