WLS unveil new home automation division

A new home automation/AV department has been set up under the WLS banner. A logical follow on from their key markets in electronic security and fire, this new division has taken 3 months to set up and having gained Control 4 dealer status, is now awaiting CEDIA approval.

CEDIA ,the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, is the international trade organisation for the home electronic systems industry and as members WLS will be certified to specialise in the planning, design, supply and installation of automated electronic systems for the modern, intelligent home.  West London Security are in the process of finalising their accreditation.

Control4 facilitates intelligent communication between your lighting, temperature, music, movies, doors, curtains, security, and more, all from your iPhone, iPad, tablet or laptop - giving you the ability to control them centrally, no matter where you are. As  an authorised  Control4 dealer, West London Security can install and support all Control4 products. Installations can include anything from multi-room audio and home cinema systems to complete home networks and sub-systems which intelligently control lighting, security and HVAC.

Toby Pearce, who heads up this new department, said yesterday: “This is a great opportunity for us to add a fourth dimension to our product range and is something that is proving to be very interesting to our existing customer database. Our trick is to bring existing engineering skills to a new discipline and in doing so, drive down costs for our customers.”
